FFSA National Membership
Annual membership of FFSA for recreational and professional hang glider, paraglider and powered paraglider pilots operating in South Africa.
National Membership provides one year of membership of Free Flight South Africa (FFSA) for recreational pilots participating in hang gliding, paragliding and powered paragliding in South Africa.
Membership is valid for 12 months from the date on which your membership is approved.
What your membership includes
Your membership provides access to FFSA membership services and benefits applicable to national recreational pilots, including:
- Recognition as an FFSA member
- Access to FFSA member services and resources
- Access to participating FFSA flying sites, subject to the rules and requirements of each site
- Access to the FFSA online member community
- Membership communications and safety information
- Support with applicable aviation administration and regulatory processes
Membership does not replace any licence, rating, medical certificate or other regulatory requirement that may apply to your flying activities.
Membership approval
Purchasing this product does not automatically activate your membership. New applications are subject to FFSA’s membership and verification process.
You may be required to provide supporting information such as proof of identity, pilot licence information, ratings or endorsements, and other documentation relevant to your membership.
Once your application has been approved, your membership will be activated and your membership details will be confirmed.
Renewal
Membership is valid for 12 months from approval and may be renewed annually. FFSA will send renewal reminders before your membership expires.
